The reason for my writing is to provide basic information about covid-19 vaccination and negate all those rumors which exist nowadays in our community and resist them to do vaccination.

‘’May Allah protect our elders’ Ameen’

Background:

When covid-19 pandemic was outburst as pandemic, everyone negated, some said it’s ‘jewish propaganda’; some called it ‘’Economic War’’ and Blan.. Blan.. Blan..

when this tiny creature played with the lives of our loved ones , gradually and gradually, then we were fearful and mindful about it.

We had to face the same kind of attitude towards Covid-19 vaccination. As a pharmacy student, I had conducted a survey in my community to get to know about the trend of vaccination in my community and highlight all those doubts related to this.

48 people from different age groups took part in this survey and shared their thoughts.

Wrong information will only lead to deformation. In Short, Most of the people are victims of such kind of wrong information in our community which spread through social media or some other person.

What is Vaccination?

Vaccination is a kind of weapon, a weapon of our body against viruses!.. Do you think a soldier can win the battle without his gun? Same as your immune system is like a gun or cannon which destroy the foreigner bodies. So the question may pop up in your mind: what is the role of vaccines then ? I must say that vaccines are bullets in the gun that trigger the gun to shoot.

Same as a vaccine triggers your body’s immune response. Vaccination is basically inactivated and killed form of the germ (virus), when it is inoculated in the body, it makes antibodies in the system and when the original foreigner body comes in future then newly formed antibodies fight against it.

Keep in mind Vaccination is not a cure, it’s prevention.

Covid-19 vaccine is the same as other vaccinations we inoculate at the birth time or in emergency; polio, TB, diphtheria, Mumps and Measles, tetanus and influenza. The Covid-19 outbreak happened as a pandemic. Since then we are long awaited for its vaccine and finally when it is launched. All the vaccines that are present in the market are FDA and WHO approved. In Pakistan Astrazeneca, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Sputnik, Cansino are available. All are safe! Some of these vaccines are single doses scheduled while some are double dosing, in which the 2nd dose is usually given 3 weeks or 21days apart. A person becomes immune after 2 weeks of completion of both dosing.

(May Allah protect all of us from this terrible disease)

Be clear! any type of covid-19 virus attacks on the fully vaccinated person, but this vaccination will cause full destruction of that antigen or infection will not reach at such severity where hospitalization or ventilator are required.

‘A short period of discomfort is a whole lot better than a visit to the ICU.’

About 40% are having many queries about vaccination.
